The Lady Tiger softball team travelled to Green City Friday for their season opener. Brashear spotted the Gophers 3 runs in the 1st and 3 in the 2nd to trail 6-1. Brashear tied the game at 6-6 with a 5-run 4th, but Green City scored 4 in the 5th on their way to a 10-8 win.

Hannah Grissom and Atalie Hagan collected 2 hits each for Brashear with Sierra Snyder, Tanna Garlock, and Alexa Higgins also having hits. Atalie Hagan got the start on the mound striking out 5.
